National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA)

A private, non-profit organization of victim and witness assistance programs, criminal justice agencies and professionals, mental health professionals, researchers, former victims and survivors and others committed to the recognition and implementation of victim rights and services.

Their “Touch Base” emotional wellness support program is available 8 A.M. to 8 P.M., Monday-Friday to offer a listening ear and strategies to de-stress.

Federal office within the U.S. Department of Justice that provides federal funds to support victim assistance and compensation programs around the country and advocates for the fair treatment of crime victims. Their website has a mass database of hotlines and online resources.

Legal Momentum

The Legal Momentum Helpline was established to provide information and assistance for those who have experienced gender discrimination or gender-based violence in the workplace, home or school. They offer limited individual legal assistance on a case-by-case basis.
